“The Brain®”is an electronic mixing center (EMC) for central re-circulation system water temperature control.
Designed specifically to provide +/- 2°F recirculation-system control during zero-demand idling periods, "The Brain" also provides remarkable performance across the full diversity of hot-water use. And it has no minimum system draw-off requirement. With remote programming and control features, and building-automation system interface capability built into the mixing unit, "The Brain" offers an unequalled portfolio of valuable benefits.
“The Brain” from Armstrong is supplied as preplumbed frame-mounted packages and are available in 0–75 GPM (0–273 LPM) and 0–150 GPM (0–568 LPM) capacities. With 20–25 hours of site-based labor removed from the installation side of the equation, "The Brain" assemblies are sensibly priced.
