Armstrong On-Site Employees Contribute to Record-Setting Production Run at Ocean Spray
Three Rivers, Mich. - Armstrong Service, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Armstrong International, a world leader in intelligent system solutions for steam, air and hot water utility applications, was recognized by Ocean Spray for their contribution to a recent record-setting production run at Ocean Spray's Bordentown, New Jersey plant.
Armstrong on-site employees Hank James and Charlie Abbott were recognized for their collaboration with Ocean Spray personnel to resolve issues in a production line that had become bottle necked. The team effort resulted in a record number of cases produced in a single day.
"We're proud of Hank and Charlie and our partnership with Ocean Spray", said Daniel Musson, general manager of Armstrong Service, Inc. Armstrong service is responsible for the daily operation and maintenance of Ocean Spray's steam, compressed air and refrigeration systems at the facility. "We've become an extension of our customer's in-house team working side by side with Ocean Spray employees to reduce production costs while increasing plant productivity," Musson said.
Abbott and James were recognized for their efforts during a recent corporate ceremony where Ocean Spray plant manager, Tim Haggerty, presented them with an award for their efforts.
